• FlightGear is 100% free to download — including the entire world scenery database and all the 100’s of available aircraft.  Visit our main web page to download and install FlightGear (always 100% for free!)
  
• Once FlightGear is installed you can turn on “terrasync” to automatically download the newest world scenery as you visit new areas.
• Inside the FlightGear launcher you can browse, download, install, and fly any of the available aircraft.  In addition, you can check around online for additional 3rd party aircraft.
• The forum and wiki can be great resources for learning more about what resources and tricks are available to make FlightGear look and run it’s best.

For several reasons I am removing the FlightGear program stock from the FlightGear store and essentially shutting the doors for now. (1) FlightGear has always been a free download; the store’s main purpose was to be a service to those with slow/expensive internet. (2) FlightGear now makes it so easy to access the entire world scenery and browse/install aircraft right inside the program. (3) Internet availability and speed continues to improve around the world. (4) I have a recent personal life/job change that limits my time to create and ship FlightGear products.
